Robert Dean Leeker,
68, of Leon, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 in Wichita. Rosary 7 p.m. Wednesday at Headley Funeral Chapel. Memorial
Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017, at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Augusta, Kansas. Robert was born in Kansas City, Missouri on February 2, 1949, to the late Delores (Cudney) and Bernard David
Leeker. Bob moved to the Augusta area in 1983 and was a small engine technician for many years at Augusta Saw and Mower. He
later worked and retired from Zipper Mower Manufacturing. Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing with every trip attached with a
unique story that friends would tell over and over. He owned several Beagles and his hunting friends nicknamed him "Beagle
Bob". Bob also enjoyed woodworking, building several items for family and friends. After retiring, he took up woodcarving
specializing in walking sticks. Bob lived life to the fullest, helping others and loving his wife and children. In December
of 1983 he married Jennifer (Kramer) Leeker and she survives. He is also survived by: son, Robert David Leeker and wife Rosemary
Lynn of Platte City, MO; daughter, Angela Marie Cornelison and husband Jason of Osawatomie, KS; daughter, Hannah Elizabeth
Leeker of home; brother, William Leeker of Osawatomie; brother, Richards Adams and sister, Lily May Kaufman; grandchildren,
Allisa Paige Leeker, Destiny Renae Campbell, Maggie, Bailey and Cassie Cornelison; great grandchildren, Carli Ehrlich and
Alexis Campbell. Memorial donations may be given to benefit his daughter Hannah Elizabeth Leeker.
