Arsula E. Simmons

Arsula E. Simmons, 83, of Andover, KS, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024 in Wichita. Celebration of life 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 3 Wooden Crosses Cowboy Church, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery, Severy, KS. Arsula was born in Fall River, KS on September 1, 1940, to the late Nerine (Welch) and Walt E. Atkinson. She retired as a patient account director at Via Christi St. Francis. On January 20, 1962 she married Donald W. Simmons in Severy, KS. He preceded her in death. She is survived by: son, Lonnie Simmons of Rose Hill, KS; son in law, Randy Gregg of Wichita, KS; sister, Karen Hughes and husband Lynn of Charlotte, NC; sister, Doreen Koop and husband Eldon of Howard, KS; grandchildren, Cody Simmons and wife Jessica, and Shelby Brown and husband Kody; great grandchildren, Lily and Emma Simmons, Layton Brown, and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tonya Gregg. Memorial donations to 3 Wooden Crosses Cowboy Church, P. O. Box 533, Augusta, KS 67010.
