Barbara J. Wintz

Barbara J. Wintz, 91, of Augusta, KS, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021. No service has been planned at this time. Barbara was born in Hutchinson, KS on September 10, 1930, to the late Marjoria Wilson and Dwight Mettlen. She worked as a realtor for many years in the Wichita and Great Bend areas. Barbara loved traveling in her RV, playing bridge, reading, and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerald Wintz and son Gary Wintz. She is survived by: daughters, Debra Rosenthal (Robert), and Karen Carriker (Michael); grandchildren, Kristie Chinn (Jeremy), Matt Wintz, Bryan Carriker (Kimberly), Tyler Carriker, and Amy Hayes (Stephen); great grandchildren, Payton Haskell, Kinleigh Haskell, Brody Haskell, Harper Wintz, Alex Hayes, and Felix Carriker.
