Candace "Candy" Gay Livengood

Candace “Candy” Gay Livengood (Watkins) (Small), 73, of Augusta, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019 in Augusta. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2019 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Candace was born in Wichita, Kansas on July 20, 1946, to the late Janice (Corley) and George L. "Pat" Small. Candace retired as a Kansas Turnpike Authority toll collector after 26 years of service. In 1965 she married John P. Watkins, Jr. in Augusta, Kansas and he preceded her in death. In 2005 she married Eugene Livengood in El Dorado, Kansas and he preceded her in death. Candace was also preceded in death by her brother, George Small, Jr.; sister, Debby Cornwell; and grandson, Garrett Watkins. She is survived by: sons, John P. Watkins III and wife Christy and James R. Watkins and wife Kathy; sisters, Sandy Allen and Shelly Vail; brother, Danny Small;  grandchildren, Aaron Watkins, Ryan Watkins and wife Becca, Blake Watkins and fiancé Jojo Hollis and one great grandchild, Avery Watkins. Memorial donations to Ronald McDonald House of Wichita, Kansas.
