Carley Nichole Bullard

Carley Nichole Bullard, 21, of Augusta, KS passed away on Saturday, June 18th 2022.

Carley was born to Robert and Laura (Gates) Bullard on July 13th, 2000. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, friend, and so much more to all those that loved her. Carley’s entire world revolved around her family, friends, and her two dogs, Rue and Zelda, and her house plants.

Carley had dreams of one day opening a dog rescue of her own. Her passion of rescue came to her after adopting her two pit bulls, Rue and Zelda. She truly loved her dogs more than life itself, mothering them as they were undoubtedly her children.

There was nothing Carley did half-way. She was a determined, stubborn, and independent young woman who took pride in her work. She was beloved employee of her community at the Augusta Walmart where she was a Lead Department Manager. She made many friendships through her career and will be deeply missed by all those she worked alongside.

Carley was the world’s greatest aunt. She loved her nieces and nephew with everything she had, never missing a dance recital, birthday, or a chance to spend time with them. There was nothing she would not do for her family. Her loving smile touched everyone who was lucky enough to know her. She will whole heartedly be missed by everyone.

Carley is survived by her parents, her sister Megan (Brice) Keazer, her brother Dakota (Katlyn) Bullard , her grandfather Merlin Bullard; aunts and uncles, Darla and John Goodwin, Kim Gates, Paula and Issac Shafer, Teresa Bullard, Gary Bullard, and Opal and Tom Feeney; nieces and nephew, Ari, Mavryk, and Holden Keazer, and Hayven Bullard. She is preceded in death by her grandmothers Peggy Bullard, Christine Gray, and her uncles, Scott Gates.

Closed casket visitation Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Service 2 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2022 at First Baptist Church, Augusta. Private family burial at Kechi Cemetery, Kechi, KS. Memorial donations may be made to Beauties and Beasts Pet Rescue of Wichita, Kansas in honor of Carley’s life. (114 S Pattie Wichita, KS 67214).
