Clair D. Baldwin, Jr., 90, of Augusta, KS, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 in Wichita, KS. Memorial service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Inurnment will be at Latham Cemetery, Latham, KS. Clair was born in Latham, KS on April 3, 1929, to the late Hazel Harriet (Sontag) and Clair Delray Baldwin, Sr. He served in the U.S. Navy as an AD3 in the Korean War. He worked as a shipping and receiving clerk at Boeing for many years. He is survived by: daughter, Valerie Baldwin of Augusta, KS; sister, Jaunita Deichman of Augusta, KS; grandchildren, Joshua Baldwin and Brianna Baldwin; 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Baldwin; brother, Lewis Baldwin; sisters, Almeta Lemon and Lucille Wallingford; granddaughter, Jessica Baldwin.
