Dena Rae Lacy

Dena Rae Lacy, 67, died Sunday, December 4, 2022, surrounded by her family in Andover, Kansas.

She was born on May 5, 1955, in Great Bend, Kansas and was the second of four children born to Ray and Doris (Fox) Anderson.

On May 5, 1990, Dena married Terry Dean Lacy in Miami, Oklahoma. They made their home and spent the rest of their lives raising their daughters and grandchildren in Augusta, Kansas.

Dena was well known for her many projects and her ability to master any that she initiated. Her incredible artistic talent was shown throughout her work as a graphic designer and her many hobbies.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Terry Dean Lacy, her parents, Ray and Doris Anderson and her sister, Dianne.

She is survived by daughters Sasha Lawson and husband Jeremy; Ashley Deaver and husband Abe; Grand Children, Ruby Deaver, Jackson Lawson, Myles Deaver and Violet Deaver, All of Augusta, Kansas; sister Debra Wiebe and husband Kevin, Omaha, Arkansas; Brother Jerry Anderson and wife Patricia, Joplin, Missouri; nine nieces and nephews, Damon (Dawn) Wheeler, St. Augustine, Florida; Amy (John) Delgado, Wichita, Kansas; Samantha Anderson, Jessica Sullins, Jeff Wiebe, Branson, Missouri; Zach (Amanda) Manns, Jefferson City, Missouri; Wade (Meranda) Phillips, Webb City, Missouri; Curtis (Alisa) Phillips, Junction City, Kansas; Trenton (Melissa) Anderson, Joplin, Missouri.

Service will be Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Augusta, Kansas with Pastor Terry Deaver officiating.
