Edwin Little

Edwin Little, 94, of Augusta, KS, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at home. Visitation 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Service 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2023, at First Baptist Church, Augusta. Burial will follow at Benton Cemetery Benton. Ed was born in Newton, KS on March 27, 1929, to the late Emma (Bodman) and Roy Clifford Little. He worked at Skelly Refinery for many years and retired as a shift foreman from Getty/Texaco. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and car restoration. Ed was a member of River City Car Club, First Baptist Church, and the Loyal Heirs Sunday School Class. Ed married Norma (Whitson) Little on December 31, 1949 and she preceded him in death in 2003. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Merle, Donald, Wilford, Sam, Carl, Roy Jr., and Louis Little; sister, Ada Darrow. On May 21, 2005 he married Barbara (Mickle) Brown Little who survives him. He is also survived by: son, Mark Little (Cindy) of Wichita, KS; daughter, Janice Fischer (Gary) of Douglass, KS; step sons, Brad Brown (Kathy) of Andover, KS, Brent Brown (Teresa) of Augusta, KS, and Jeremy Brown of Clearwater, KS; step daughter, Pam Hubbard (Bob) of Augusta, KS; grandchildren, Jessie Fischer (Melissa), Nickie Cherico (Jeff), and Diane Rupe (Brandon); great grandchildren, Josie, Calie, Gavin, and Addison Fischer, Landon and Ellie Cherico, and Joey and Brantley Rupe; great grandchildren, Jaxon Fischer, Brexlee Fischer, Hayden Hogoboom, Walker Carl Hogoboom, Esriana Triado.
