Emma F. Elliott

Emma F. Elliott, 87, of Augusta, KS, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023. Visitation 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2023 at Headley Funeral Chapel. Service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Church of the Nazarene, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta, KS. Emma was born in El Dorado, KS on October 22, 1935, to the late Flossie Ethel (Drake) and Ralph Wing. She was a small parts assembler at Beech Aircraft for many years and had also worked as a nurse's aid in nursing homes. Emma loved baking especially when she found someone to eat it.  On January 4, 1954 she married Oliver Glenn Elliott. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son in law, William Standefer; brother, Rex Wing; sisters, Pauline Folk, Winona Stockebrand, and Lola Billbery. She is survived by: sons, Randall Elliott and wife Judy, Dale Elliott and wife Anna, and Jeff Elliott and wife Crystal; daughter, Kathy Standefer; brother, Max Wing; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
