Ethel V. Aitchison, 89, of Augusta, KS, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 in Rose Hill, KS. Service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta, KS. Ethel was born in Ozark, AR on September 20, 1933, to the late Verna (Boen) and James Claude Doss. She was a homemaker for most of her life. On October 1, 1950 she married Roy Aitchison in Ozark, AR. He preceded her in death in 2009. She was also preceded in death by her twin daughters, Mary and Marie; and brother, Otis Doss. She is survived by: sons, Roger Aitchison and wife Kay of Longmont, CO, Tom Aitchison and wife Sandra of Augusta, KS, and Dan Aitchison and wife Julia of Towanda, KS; daughter, Tina Siviseth and husband Rick of Augusta, KS; brothers, James Doss and wife Linda of Ozark, AR, Curt Doss and wife Linda of Springdale, AR, and Calvin Doss and wife Vera of Renton, WA; sister, Dena  Holmes of Ozark, AR; grandchildren, Beth, Andy, Megan, Kirby, Annie, Pete, Beth, Lucas, Caleb, Jeremiah, Matt, Sam, Morgan, Keith, Seth, and Jennifer; 19 great grandchildren.
