Evan V. Middleton, 83, of Augusta, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at home. Visitation 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2024, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Service 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at First Baptist Church, Augusta, Augusta, KS. Evan was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 18, 1941, to the late Betty (Newton) and Vernon Middleton. He served in the U.S. Navy. Evan worked as a Customer Support Manager at Beech Aircraft. He enjoyed golfing and traveling. On Sept. 3, 2006, he married Barbara (Nelson) Middleton at the First Baptist Church, Augusta and she survives him. He is also survived by: son, Brice Middleton and wife Gretchen; daughter, Amy Miles; stepson, Bret Poulos and wife Kelli; stepdaughter, Julie Booker and husband Jeff; grandchildren, William and Matthew Middleton, Jordan Booker (Robin), Joshua Booker (Kayla) and Ian and Hayli Poulos; and great grandchildren, Jailee and Jayden. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Middleton, sister, Nancy and a step grandson, Justin Booker.
