Faye Teegarden

Faye Teegarden, 98, of Augusta, KS, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023 in Wichita. Visitation will be Monday, August 28, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Service 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Augusta United Methodist Church, Augusta, KS. Private graveside service will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, KS. Faye was born in Yates Center, Kansas on September 23, 1924, to the late Almeda Abigail (Stines) and Thomas A. Park. She worked as a Librarian at Garfield, Lincoln and Robinson Elementary Schools and had been a Physical Education Teacher at the Augusta Junior High School. Faye was a member of the Augusta United Methodist Church. On August 11, 1946 she married Raymond  Teegarden in Pittsburg, KS. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Susan; brothers, Charles Park and William Park and a sister, Lora Mae Blazer. Faye is survived by her daughter, Laura Teegarden of Augusta.
