George Edward Todd

George Edward Todd, 93, of Augusta, KS, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in Andover. Visitation Friday 6-8 p.m. at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Service 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019, at First Baptist Church, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta, KS. George was born in Osage County, OK on January 16, 1926, to the late Dilla (Boles) and George O. Todd. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a pipefitter for the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union 441 in Wichita. On Feb. 28, 1953 he married Dorothy (Uden) in Buffalo, KS and she survives him. He is also survived by children: Dr. Mike  Todd and wife Terri of Augusta; Marty Todd and wife Leann of Wichita; Julie Harrison and husband Jay of Augusta; Jill Dehlinger and husband Greg of Augusta;  Jeff Todd of Broomfield, CO; and Tim Todd and wife Staci of Augusta; sisters, Margie Myers of Salem, MO; and Elsie May Hill of Ponca City, OK. grandchildren, Ryan Todd (Jennifer), Preston Todd (Carlee), Kyle Todd (Jen), Kaleb Todd (Katie), Brooke  Ponce (Will), Stratton Harrison (Cindy), Tori and Blayke Dehlinger, Lydia Burrows (Drake), Hannah Johnson (Dan), and Joshua Todd;  and 9 great grandchildren Landon, Chloe, Lauren, Laci, Olivia, Audrey, Avery, Aliana, Slaton. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Todd and sister, Dorothy Blake. Memorial donations to First Baptist Church Preschool 1501 State Street Augusta, Kansas 67010.
