Glen F. Mayo

Glen F. Mayo, 82, of El Dorado, KS, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at home. Rosary 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2020 and Funeral Mass  10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020, both at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery Augusta, KS. Glen was born in Arkansas on April 27, 1938, to the late Virgie (Cogburn) and Frank  Mayo. He served in the U.S. Army. He later worked at many of the local aircraft companies and as a mechanic in road construction. Glen enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. On July 2, 1965 he married Patsy (Hein) Mayo in Wichita, KS who survives him. He is also survived by: sister, Frances Chapman; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Mayo. Memorial donations to St. James Catholic Church 1012 Belmont Avenue Augusta, Kansas 67010.
