Harold Dewayne Moore

Harold Dewayne Moore, 80, of Augusta, KS, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023 in Wichita. Graveside service 1 P.M. Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Douglass Cemetery, Douglass, KS. Harold was born in Wichita, KS on June 2, 1943, to the late Cleo E. (Chapman) and Cleo W. Moore. He retired as a production foreman from Cessna. Harold enjoyed collecting model trains and supporting his grandchildren and great grandchildren's school activities. On October 21, 1963 he married Peggy Lou (Bright) Moore in Blackwell, OK and she preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jack and Billy Moore; and a sister, Karlene Sanderford. Harold is also survived by: sons, Douglass Moore, and Billy Moore and partner Richard Ingersoll all of Wichita; daughter, Kim Martin and fiancé Brent Cottrell of Colorado Springs, CO; brothers, Joe Moore and David Moore of Wichita; sisters, Shilene Dean and husband Jack of Wellington; and Nancy Treadwell and husband David of Viola; 7 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
