Harold A. White

Harold A. White, 88, of Augusta, KS, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024 in Augusta. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  with service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta, Kansas. Harold was born in Augusta, Kansas on November 26, 1935, to the late Stella K (Chalmers) and Erman A. White. Harold retired from being a barber after 55 years. He enjoyed fishing and going to his grandsons' ball games. On September 9, 1962, he married Karen (Keethler) White in Augusta, and she survives him. He is also survived by daughters, Deann Willett and husband Glen of Augusta; Lisa Mitchell and husband Robert of Kansas City; and Michelle McConathy and husband Roy of Augusta; grandchildren, AJ Willett, Quentin and Tyler McConathy; and numerous nieces, nephews and close family members. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Dean White. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 1501 State Street, Augusta, KS 67010.
