Helen Snider

Helen Snider, 78, of Augusta, KS, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023 in Andover, KS. Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2023 at Prairie Rose Ranch Opera House,15231 SW Parallel St, Benton, KS. Due to construction and road closure, go north on SW Meadowlark RD from HWY 254 and then head west on SW Parallel St. Helen was born in San Diego, CA on May 24, 1945, to the late Pauline Dorothy "Dot" (Hunter) and Michael Anthony Pocinich. She was a dietician working in hospitals for many years. She was a volunteer for Augusta Schools for many years. On March 9, 1972 she married Thomas Allen Snider in Santa Maria, CA. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2023. She is survived by: son, Patrick Snider and wife Ananda of Wichita, KS; daughter, Judy Schild and husband Gene of Augusta, KS; brother, Paul Pocinich and wife Joyce of WA; sisters, Pattie Pocinich and husband Tim Rogers of Redding, CA, and Grace Rusconi and husband Drew of Oakdale, CA; grandchildren, Haley Schild, Johnathan Schild, Scott Schild, Braden Snider, Mya Schild, and Patrick Snider, Jr.; nephews, Bobby (Kathy) Rusconi, Ricky Rusconi; great niece and nephew, Grayson and Jackson. She was preceded in death by her sons, Scott Allen Snider and Daniel Allen Snider; brother, Jimmy Pocinich. Memorial donations to American Liver Foundation, P.O.
