Herbert K. "Ken" Smith, 83, Douglass,  passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019.  Viewing Wednesday 6-8 pm  and Service 1 pm Thursday, March 14, 2019, both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.  Burial will follow at  Douglass Cemetery,  Douglass, Kansas. Ken was born in Seymour, Missouri on October 12, 1935, to the late Alta Mary (Simmons) and Herbert  Tony Smith.  He served in the U.S. Army.  Ken  owned Smith Enterprises Heating and Cooling. He was always looking  for a good deal at an auction or garage sale.  On April 1, 1955 he married Wilma  (Townlian) Smith   who survives him. He is also survived by: sons, Marty Smith and wife Brenda of Andover and  Rocky Smith and wife Carolyn of Atlanta; grandchildren Keith Allen Smith, Jason Smith (Samantha), Justin Smith (Ann); 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild,  He was preceded in death by his  son Richard Smith; and brother Buell O. Smith.  Memorial donations to Heartland Home Healthcare and Hospice 3210 W Kellogg Wichita, Kansas 67213.
