Jack Anthony "Tony" Highbarger

Jack Anthony "Tony" Highbarger, 65, of Towanda, KS, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 at home. Memorial graveside service 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2018, at Towanda Cemetery, Towanda, KS. Jack was born in Wichita, KS on October 8, 1953, to the late Norma Dee (Sexton) Highbarger and William  David  Highbarger. He worked in aircraft manufacturing at Cessna, Beech, and Boeing for over 25 years. Jack enjoyed working with wood, building many beautiful projects through the years. He also enjoyed reading books and listening to music. His library of books was very large and over the years he amassed a large collection of music(vinyl and CD's).  He is survived by: sister, Jodi  Highbarger of El Dorado, KS; brothers, David Highbarger and wife Brenda of Towanda, KS, and Jeffrey Highbarger and wife Cynthia of Towanda, KS; nieces and nephews, Stacia (Matt) Hobbs and their children, Landon, Spencer, and Ainsleigh; Devin (Tara), Kelsey, Talia, Justin, and Andrew Highbarger.
