Jacob Oliver Taylor, 32, of Leon, KS, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022 at home. Viewing from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2022 at Headley Funeral Chapel followed by a family held celebration of life from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Bluestem Elementary School, 501 S Mill Road, Leon, KS. Graveside service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Bloomington Cemetery, Rural Leon, KS. Jacob was born in Wichita, KS on April 9, 1990, to Debra Geneva (Burns) and Kevin Eugene Taylor. He graduated from Bluestem High School. He was a mechanic for many years and had worked at Quality Car Care in Andover and The Shop in Augusta for many years. Jacob is survived by: his parents; grandparents, Ethel Mae and Billy Gene Taylor; daughter, Gracie Mae Taylor; son, Tucker Wayne Taylor; fiancé, Michelle Bryant; twin brother, Benjamin Taylor; brothers, Adam Scott Taylor, and Aaron Eugene Burns; nephews, Jordan, Cooper, and Caleb Taylor, Zach, Nick, and Alec Burns; uncles, Kelly Taylor, John Burns, and Rick Burns; aunts, Kathy Hall, Barbara Caldwell, Connie Montgomery, Patti Apel, and Cindy Cummings; numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jimmy and Mary Ann Burns; great grandparents, Chester and Cora Bell Presley, and Mabel Bartlett (Kenneth); father in law, David Bryant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Headley Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
