Janet Faye Gilliand, 77, of Augusta, KS, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Augusta. Graveside service 10 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2021, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, KS. Those attending should use the Ohio Street entrance. Janet was born in El Dorado, Kansas on July 26, 1944, to the late Rowena Marie (Meyer) and John Rudolph Gilliand. She worked as a unit clerk at Wesley Medical Center. She is survived by brother, Harry Gilliand; sister, Karen Murphy; nephews, Randy Duncan, Kenn Murphy, John Gilliand, Andrew Gilliand, Daniel Gilliand, Matthew Gilliand, Jason Gilliand, and Preston Gilliand; great nephews, Casey Duncan, Tyler Duncan, Blake Gilliand, and Connall Gilliand; great nieces, Randi Jeanne Duncan, Layne Gilliand, Adi Cook, Vedah Gilliand, and Lizzie Gilliand; great-great nephew, Ryan Duncan; and great-great niece, Riley Duncan. She was preceded in death by her brother, John W. Gilliand and nephews, Daniel Gilliand Jr. and John W. Gilliand, Jr.
