Janice Kay Wilson

Janice Kay Wilson, 84, of Augusta, KS, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022. Visitation 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Graveside service 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2022, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, KS. Janice was born in Wichita, KS on March 30, 1938, to the late Doris Rowena (Lipscomb) and Murray Merritt Marshall. She had been a teller at Mid Continent Federal Credit Union, Prairie State Bank, and other banks.  She had also been the church secretary at First Baptist Church in Augusta and El Dorado. On November 10, 1956 she married George Edgar "Ed" Wilson, Jr. at First Christian Church in Augusta, KS. He preceded her in death in November of 2020. She is survived by: daughters, Susan Kay Wile and husband Craig, Mary Ann Smith, and another daughter who does not wish to be named; brother, John Marshall and wife Terri; grandchildren, Trisha Wile, Julie Hedman (Ryan), Cereasa Patterson (Phillip), Dustin Moore (Savvannah Sorensen), Richard "Trey" Smith III, and one who does not wish to be named; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
