Jean Thompson

Jean Thompson, 88, of Augusta, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018. Private family service and burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. Jean was born in Lancaster,  Lancashire, England on December 11, 1929, to the late Sarah (Stephenson) and Wilfred  Procter. She was a homemaker and has worked as a receptionist at senior centers. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Thompson of Augusta; grandchildren, Sarah Jean Thompson, Nathan Wayne Thompson, Jennifer Lynne Thompson (Derek Blackston), Nicholas (Ashley) Thompson, Laura (Kenneth Casteel) Thompson, and Daniel (Jessaca) Thompson, Matthew (Heather) Holmes; and many great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Adel Thompson and sister, Doreen Milmine.
