Jewell Laglen Drake

Jewell LaGlen Drake, 62, of Arkansas City, KS, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 in Wichita. Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Jewell was born in Wichita, KS on March 12, 1961. He worked as a bartender and mixologist. Jewell enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and reading books. He is survived by: his fiancé, Corinna Lester; son, Charles "Chuck" Drake (Erica); stepsons, Jason Collard, T.J Hammond; stepdaughters, Donna Sutton (Josh), Rebecca "Becky" Jaeger (Clay); brothers, James Drake, Richard Drake, and Lonnie Drake; sister, Robbie Dale; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta "Robbie" Drake, and mother, Nancy Mallory. Family requests donations to Headley Funeral Chapel for funeral expenses.
