Joseph Wayne Renfro

Joseph Wayne Renfro, 70, of Augusta, KS, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at home. Memorial gathering  12:00 to 2:00 p.m.  Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Augusta Senior Center, 640 Osage, Augusta, KS. Joseph  was born in Odessa, TX on September 16, 1948, to the late Roberta Maxine (Beard) and Wallace Andrew Renfro. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Joseph worked as a Quality Control Inspector at Boeing and Spirit. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandkids. On July 1, 1972 he married Susan (Alexander) Renfro in Neodesha, KS. She survives him. He is also survived by: daughter, Casey Nance and husband Stephen of Augusta, KS; brothers, Steven Renfro and wife Carol of El Dorado, KS, Greg Renfro; sister, Barbara Behunin of Wichita, KS; granddaughters, Faith and Grace Nance; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by brother in law, Richard Behunin.
