Julie Loree Mitchell

Julie Loree Mitchell, 60, of Augusta, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at home. Visitation Thursday 5:30 to 6:30 and service to celebrate her life will be at 6:30 pm Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Julie was born in Wichita, Kansas on September 28, 1956, to the late Phyllis Joye Chance and Bobby Gene Mitchell. She worked as a machinist for over 35 years and retired from Beechcraft-Raytheon-Textron. Julie was an avid sports fan who enjoyed KU, WSU, and the Kansas City Royals. She was a talented pianist who had an ear for all music. Julie is survived by her daughter, Loree Perea and husband Arturo of Augusta; son, Justin Mitchell of Augusta; sister, Genelle Miller and husband Roger of Augusta; brother, Mark Mitchell and wife Kathy of Douglass; grandchildren, Nick, Kyle, Dylan and Cayden Mitchell and Arlo, Ava and Nico Perea.
