Larry Hastings

Larry Hastings, 75, of Augusta, KS, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at home. Memorial service 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Larry was born in Winfield, KS on November 6, 1948, to the late Gwendolyn (Luke) and Alva Gene Hastings. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Larry worked as an engineer at LSI Logic. Larry also enjoyed Ham Radio with the call sign of AA0LH, and was an avid private pilot. On June 21, 1968, he married Linda (Davis) Hastings in Derby, KS and she survives him. He is also survived by: daughters, Corrie Wilson and husband Alex of North Pole, Alaska; and Kellie Troyer and husband Josh of Augusta; brothers, Dallas Hastings and wife Michelle of Derby, and Sidney Hastings and wife Janie of Midlothian, VA; sister, Glenda Greb and husband Thomas of Derby; and a grandson, Jett Hastings.
