Lois Evelyn Wilson, 85, of Augusta, Kansas, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022 in Andover. Viewing and visitation 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Private burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Elk City, Kansas. Lois was born in Independence, Kansas on September 25, 1936, to the late Alba (Sweringen) and Richard "Dick" Holloway. She worked as a surgical technician at Wesley Medical Center and later worked as a bus and van aide for USD 402  Augusta. In 1954, she married James L. Wilson in Independence, Kansas, and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin and Floyd Holloway; and sister, Doris Sack. Lois is survived by: daughters, Nancy Hopper; and Julie Stuckey and husband Bob all of Augusta; grandchildren, Nancy Gilmore, Richard Hopper (Kateri), Stephanie Maddux (Zac Wempe), Tiffany Stuckey, Melissa Smith and Misti Fleming (Andrew) and great grandchildren, Jade Gilmore, London Holfield, Sarai and Theron Hopper, Brayden Fitzgerald, Titus Wempe, Elizabeth Stuckey, Cahner Smith, Ryder Owens, and Mason and Cameron Fleming.
