Lyle Francis Jones

Lyle Francis Jones, 79, of Douglass, KS, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at home. The family will hold a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024, at Douglass United Methodist Church, Douglass, KS. Lyle was born in Rock, KS on August 18, 1944, to the late Mildred (Connor) and Waldo Jones. In 1962, he graduated from Douglass High School. He held many different jobs over the years including parts degreasing for the aircraft manufacturing plants, moving and packing for a moving company, delivery for Lungers Furniture, and stocking at Walmart. On July 3, 1964 he married Hazel (McCandlis) Jones in Winfield, KS who survives him. He is also survived by: daughters, Cheryl Wilson and husband Frank of Douglass, KS, and Rhonda Jones of Douglass, KS; brother, Mike Jones and wife Pat of Wichita, KS; sister, Judy Walton and husband Ron Small of Indiatlantic, FL; grandchildren, Josh Wilson and wife Nikki, Tasha Johnson and husband Gunnar; great grandchildren, Hadlee and Holli Wilson.
