Mary Louise Williams, 84, of Augusta, KS, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at home. Visitation 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2020 at Headley Funeral Chapel. Graveside service 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2020, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, KS in the old section of the cemetery (those attending will use the Ohio Street entrance). The family requests that everyone in attendance wears a mask. Mary was born in Waynesville, MO on August 25, 1936, to the Lena Mae (Jackson) and Thomas Lewis Vogt. She was a composite worker at Boeing for many years. Mary enjoyed going to casinos, listening to country music, watching the Chiefs, and spending time with her family. On July 16, 1955 she married Carl Clayton Williams. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Kelly J. Williams; siblings, Pat, Dorothy, Janie, and Tommy. She is survived by: sons, Doug Williams, and Clay Williams; daughters, Sheila Escobedo and husband Pablo, and Brenda Hoge and husband Bernie; brother, Harvey Vogt and wife Sharon; sisters, Linda Winegarner, and Geraldine Nightingale; grandchildren, Jerry Williams, Carla Heideman (Shawn), Jennifer Helmer (Matt), Brett Williams, Ashley McLain (Marc), Chelsea Williams, Douglas Williams, Chad Wallace, Matthew Williams; 13 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
