Mary Ann Moore

Mary Ann Moore, 90, of Douglass, KS, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023. Memorial visitation 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.  Friday, June 2, 2023 at Headley Funeral Chapel. Memorial service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Douglass United Methodist Church, Douglass, KS. Private burial at Douglass Cemetery Douglass, KS. Mary Ann was born in Denver, CO on November 15, 1932, to the late Mildred (Varenhorst) and Eugene Hamilton. She was a custodian for Douglass schools for many years. Mary Ann was active and enjoyed gardening, riding her bike, and walking. She was a member of Douglass United Methodist Church and was in a Bible study group. Mary Ann especially loved her family and enjoyed spending lots of time with her grandchildren. On November 20, 1955 she married Everett Wesley Moore in Palco, KS. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Timothy Moore and Donald Moore; daughter in law, Debbie Moore; brother, Ralph Hamilton. She is survived by: daughter, Rebecca Moore of Douglass, KS; son, Rodney Moore of El Dorado, KS; daughter, Betty Haunschild and husband Bryan  of Winfield, KS; daughter, Kathryn Perez and husband Matt of Augusta, KS; daughters in law, Juanita Moore of Augusta, KS and Sharon Moore of Winfield, KS; sister, Joan Cook of Coldwater, KS; grandchildren, Tina Moore, Virginia Moore, Jaryd Moore, Jimmy Amoor (Hope), Kianna Moore, Jasmine Moore, Gabriel Moore, Megan Beeson, Bailey Haunschild, Brookelynn Haunschild, Lainey Perez, Jaicey Perez; and 8 great grandchildren.
