Mary "Fern" (Clubine) Boyer, 93, of Augusta, KS, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Visitation 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Graveside service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Moline Cemetery, Moline, KS. Fern was born in Haverhill, KS on April 28, 1928, to the late Elsie (Lewis) and George Clubine. She graduated from Moline High School in 1946. She retired from Moline Nursing Home after working there for many years. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Moline, KS and was later a member of Southern Baptist Church in Augusta, KS. Her greatest joy was her family. She also liked to sew and cook. On December 17, 1949 she married Charles Phillip Boyer in Moline, KS. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; great granddaughter, Kaylin Maria Barnett; siblings, Warren Clubine, Ben Clubine, Mildred McNown, Robert Clubine, and Phyllis Van Buskirk. She is survived by: daughters, Nita Allen and husband Lennie of Augusta, KS, Nancy Barnett and Frank of El Dorado, KS; grandchildren, Tiffany (Barnett) Teel and husband Matthew, Wesly Barnett and wife Morgan, Jeremy Barnett and wife Lacey, Ashley (Allen) Lienemann and husband Scott, Logan Allen and wife Jessie, Braiden Allen; 11 great grandchildren; sister Virginia Tharp; brother, Dale Clubine.
