McKartneigh Lynn Michelle Arnold, 17, of Augusta, Kansas, beloved daughter, granddaughter, and friend passed from this life on Sunday, May 28, 2023, in Wichita, Kansas.

McKartneigh was born September 7, 2005, to William Arnold and Wendy Hess in Wichita, Kansas, and attended Augusta High School.

McKartneigh held a special place in the hearts of her family and friends and we are deeply saddened to lose such a beautiful young woman.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, riding horses, attending rodeos, and driving the back country roads.  McKartneigh held high aspirations, as her love for people and all kinds of animals fostered a dream inside her to become either a nurse or a veterinarian.

McKartneigh is survived by her Father, William Arnold; Grandparents, Leah and Robert Hess; Siblings, Dylan and Tori Gillis, Clay Gillis, and Jamison and Brandon White; Aunts and Uncle, Linda Corbin, Erik and Meridee Briggs.  Nieces and Nephews, Logan James, Marshall Lee, Malcolm Charles, and Ella Jean; Cousins, Lee and Laury Arnold, Randi and Nick Fouts, Elysia Arnold, Mason Briggs, Hayden Briggs, Caelan Briggs, Canyon Corbin, and Hunter Corbin.

She is preceded in death by her Mother, Wendy Hess; Grandfathers, Albert Arnold and JR Self; Grandmother Connie Arnold Self; Great Grandparents, Harry and Betty Carey; Uncles, Ed Arnold and Chris Corbin and cousin Gabrielle Martin.

McKartneigh's celebration of life will be held at Fulton Valley Farms at 5079 SW Fulton Rd in Towanda, Kansas, on June 10, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
