Nita Jane Patterson

Nita Jane Patterson, 96, of Leon, KS, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 in Wichita, KS. Visitation 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2019 with service following at 11:00 a.m. both at Leon Methodist Church, Leon, KS. Burial will follow at Leon Cemetery, Leon, KS. Nita was born in Carrier, OK on May 2, 1923, to the late Ruth (Bone) and Glyde Davis. She was a teacher at Leon High School for many years. On September 25, 1948 she married Robert Joseph Patterson in Carrier, OK. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Wright. She is survived by: son, Dennis Patterson and wife Teresa Marshall-Patterson of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Megan, Wade, and Mallory; great grandchildren, Kylie, Alexa, Lakin, Grace, and Liberty.
