Norma Lea Cooley

Norma Lea Cooley, 94, of Augusta, KS and formerly of Douglass, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024, in Augusta, KS. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until service at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at the First Christian Church, Douglass, KS. Burial will follow at Douglass Cemetery, Douglass, KS. Norma was born in Maple City, KS on October 24, 1929, to the late Alice (Artherton) and George Wolf. She was a homemaker and farm wife. Norma was an avid book reader and loved to crochet. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Douglass. On June 3, 1947, she married Cliff William "Bill" Cooley in Winfield, KS and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Tom Cooley; brother, John Wolf; sister, Nina Reese, great grandson, Hunter Mitchell; and son-in-law, Jim Wesbrooks. Norma is survived by her daughters, Connie Little and husband Martin; Cristina Wesbrooks; and Jenny Cooley all of Augusta; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
