Patrick S. "Pat" Alfrey

Patrick S. "Pat" Alfrey, 55, of Augusta, KS, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 in Andover. Visitation 1:00 p.m. until service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Pat was born in Wichita, KS on March 12, 1964, to the Geraldine and Howard Alfrey. He was a graduate of East High School, and worked as a concrete finisher. On November 22, 2002 he married Patricia (Mead) Spires who survives him. He is also survived by: his parents of Wichita; daughters, Jamie Renich and husband Benjamin of Andover, Danielle Vega and husband Pete of Wichita; son, Rick Spires, Jr. of Bel Aire; daughter, Shannon Pennington and husband Michael of Rhode Island; son, Wesley Spires of Augusta; grandchildren, Ryleigh, Lily, Melody, Serenity, Zivah, Mikayla, Maria, Alexa, Pete "Bro", Gracie, Evan, Able, Lily, Logan, and Camden; brothers, Howard Alfrey, Jr. of Kansas City,  Brian Alfrey and wife Karen, of Garden Plaine, Greg Alfrey and wife Danni of Wichita, Charles Alfrey and wife Sara of Wichita, and David Alfrey and wife Debbie of Wichita; sisters, Debbie Longnecker and husband Jare of Wichita, Ruthie Mallon and husband Mike of Houston, TX, Susan Alder and husband Scott of Wichita, Janet Terwort and husband Stan of Andover; sister in law, Sandra Alfrey of Andover. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Alfrey.
