Paul Lynn Palmer

Paul Lynn Palmer, 72, of Wichita, KS, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Service 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta, KS. Paul was born in Union City, TN on April 9, 1952, to Paul Larry Palmer and JoAnn (Johnson) Palmer. He worked as a pipeline operator at Magellan Pipeline for many years. Sports were an important part of Paul's life, having played basketball for many years. Paul also enjoyed watching basketball as well as any other kind of sport - ESPN was always on at his house. He is survived by: his father, Larry Palmer of Augusta, KS; son, Travis Palmer of Wichita, KS; daughter, Amanda Palmer of Wichita, KS; sisters, Belinda Larsen of Augusta, KS, and Renee Graves of Tonkawa, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Palmer; and his mother, JoAnn Palmer. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
