Peggy L. (Bright) Moore

Peggy L. Moore, 75, of Augusta, KS, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at home. Rosary 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2018 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Funeral Mass  11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Douglass Cemetery, Douglass, KS. Peggy  was born in Humbolt, KS on February 4, 1943, to the late Ethel (Gilligan) and William  L.  Bright. She was an electrician at Boeing and later at Learjet for 14 years. On October 21, 1963 she married Harold Moore in Blackwell, OK who survives her. She is also survived by: sons, Douglass Moore of Wichita, KS, and Billy Moore of Haysville, KS; daughter, Kim Martin of Augusta, KS; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Gene Gurwell and Robert Gurwell; sisters, Mary Anne Metzger, and Carolyn Wells; son in law, John Martin, III.
