Philip Ray Kingsley, 89, of Leon, KS, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 in El Dorado, KS. Visitation 9:00 a.m. followed by service at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 17, 2020, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Walnut Valley Memorial Park El Dorado, KS. Philip was born in Leon, KS on October 4, 1930, to the late Fern Rae (Arnold) and Clarence O. Kingsley. He served in the U.S. Marines in Korea. Philip did many different things being a farmer of cattle, horses, chickens, wheat and milo, working at Beechcraft and working at Arnold and Harvey Feed & Grain. Philip retired as a railroad mechanic at Union Tank. On February 6, 1953 he married Phyllis Arlene (Sphar) Kingsley in Las Vegas, NV. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Gene and Bob Kingsley; sisters, Maxine Franks, Ruby Ryman, Ruth Kingsley, and Wilma Elston. He is survived by: daughter, Deb Kingsley; sons, Doug Kingsley, Todd Kingsley and wife Sherry, and Craig Kingsley; grandchildren, Brian Kingsley and wife Jayme, Kristen Diffendal and husband Mike, Nikki Huckabee, Sarah Herring, Justin Kingsley, and Taylor Kingsley; great grandchildren, Daniel Huckabee, Jr., Addison Huckabee, Kaydence Smith, Elliana Smith, Everly Kingsley, Paisley Herring, McKenna Herring, Matthew Sherry, Adeline Sherry, Scarlette Rogers; and a sister, Claudine Reding and husband Don.
