Rama Wolken

Rama Wolken, 81, of Augusta, KS, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Rama was born in Wichita, KS on October 19, 1942, to the late Rosemary (Griffin) and William Lewis Carter. She was the secretary at Dr. Guy's office for many years. Rama loved shopping and would look for Christmas presents for her loved ones all year long. She always did things her own way and her family and friends knew that what she said went. Above all else, Rama dearly loved her family. On March 14, 1979, she married James E. Wolken in Miami, OK. He preceded her in death in 2009. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Marlin "Butch" Carter; and grandson, Andrew Fouts. She is survived by: daughters, Kelly Leanne Hegi, and Polly Anglemeyer and husband David; son, Sean Lee Elliott and wife Sonya; sister, Janel White and husband Jack; grandchildren, Nicholas James Bryant (Kylee), Ashley Terrezas (David), Cody Trautman (Shelby), Kylie Trautman, Alex Fouts, Caden Elliott, Graycen Elliott, and Ethan Elliott; 24 great grandchildren. No services are planned.
