Rhodona Rodisa Turnquist

Rhodona Rodisa Turnquist, a cherished mother, sister, and friend, peacefully passed away on May 20, 2023 after a courageous, 9-year battle with cancer. She was 64 years old.
Born on October 1st, 1958, in Liberal, KS, Rhodona dedicated her life to caring for her family. In 1977, she began working at Beech (now Textron), and in 1985, she relocated to Wichita, where she remained a devoted employee until her passing.
Rhodona is survived by her adoring sons, Dustin (Jami) Turnquist, Casey (Sarah) Turnquist, and Cody Turnquist, as well as her eight cherished grandchildren. She is also fondly remembered by her sisters, Roxanne (Rick) Spires and Roshanna Collins, her brother Robbie (Nikole) Johnson, and her sister-in-law Jane (Roland) Wyer. In addition, she leaves behind her nieces Jasmin (Chad) Kingsley, Denvar (Tyler) Harder, Sarah (Aaron) Knudsen, Rapidy (Doug) Pope; and nephews Brian Johnson and Mark Johnson.
Rhodona is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Rolisa Johnson (Platz), and her brothers Randy Johnson, Rick Wyer, and Roland (Jane) Wyer.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 6 Woodland Drive, Augusta, KS 67010 on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 at 4 pm. We warmly invite all who knew and loved Rhodona to join us in commemorating her life.
