Robert G. Lanier

Robert G Lanier 81 went to be with the Lord November 14, 2021.
He was born in Brownfield TX to John & Sissy Lanier. He went to school for welding and noticed that the HVAC students had it made by being the in cool air while he was out in the heat. He reflected I should have pursued that as vocation. He held many different jobs from welding to oil fields to finally being owner operated of his own truck.
Bob was married to the love of his life Sharon Rousseau for 41 years. They had 5 children Bob, Steve, Chris, Elizabeth & Mary.
Bob & Sharon loved the Lord and ministered too many from the VA home to the Indian Reservations in South Dakota.   After Sharon passing, he remarried & he continued to spread the gospel while living in Oklahoma.
He is survived by his children Bob his wife Deb, Steve his wife Jan, Chris, Mary and husband Matt. His grandchildren Chris Hessler, Nathan Garner, Ashley Bondie husband John, Jenny Pankey, Jon Lanier, Jake Lanier, Tabitha Jacobs, Garrett Partyka, 7 great grandchildren many nieces and nephews.
Bob is preceded in death by Sharon. His parents & sister Lena, daughter Elizabeth & grandson Jess Lanier, grandson Zachary Douglas.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday. November 24, 2021 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS.  He will be laid to rest next to Sharon at the Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta KS.
