Robert "Bob" Dale Chorn

Robert "Bob" Dale Chorn, 83, of Augusta, KS entered his eternal reward Monday, October 18, 2021. Visitation 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Service 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 25, 2021, at GracePointe Church, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, KS. Bob was born on May 4, 1938, to Willard and Buena Vista (McHaffie) Chorn of Kissee Mills in Taney County, MO. On July 22, 1956 he married Betty Jo (Hollis) Chorn in Huntsville, AR. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by: parents; brother, Roy "Manny" Chorn. Bob is survived by: brother, Jack  Noel Chorn of Ozark, MO; son, Gary Chorn and wife Malynda of Carthage, MO; daughter, Kathlena Ruffino and husband Michael of Houston, TX; daughter, Jeannie Barnes and husband George of Augusta, KS; son, David Chorn and wife Michelle of Augusta, KS; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Bob worked construction early in life. Retiring from construction, he continued his career working for the City of Augusta as the Superintendent of the Electric Distribution Department.  After retirement, he and his wife enjoyed many travels. He attended GracePointe Assembly of God Church in Augusta, KS.  Bob and Betty both gave the Lord credit for their lives.
