Robert "Rob" Wilson (69) of Wichita, KS, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2024. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. the following day, April 27th, 2024. Both the visitation and service will be held at Central Christian Church (2900 N Rock Rd., Wichita, KS). Burial will follow at Andover Cemetery (2544 N Andover Rd. Andover, KS). Rob was born in Wichita, KS on October 19, 1954, to the late Anna Lorraine (Hopper) and Robert Clinton Wilson, Sr. On June 30, 1979, he married Dianna (Callison) Wilson at the First Bible Baptist Church in Wichita, KS and is survived by her. He is also survived by: daughters, Kristen (Josh) Luinstra, Brooke (Aaron) Jolly and Anna (Leon) Wilson-Leach; grandchildren, Kynlee Luinstra, and Logan and Lucas Jolly; younger sister, Twila (Doug) Wentz; nieces and nephews, Christina (Jared) Martinez, Teresa (Andy) Jones, Tiffany (Josh) Bunney, Cody (Tina) Wentz, Cory (Maya) Wentz, Courtney Wentz; as well as, nine great nieces and nephews and one great great niece. He was preceded in death by his older sister and brother-in-law, Armentia (Mike) Harshbarger. In 1981, Rob got licensed as an appraiser and began Appraisals Unlimited Incorporated where he worked until he started getting sick four months ago. He was known as an avid fan of the KC Chiefs and Royals who would watch and enjoy every game whether he was in the living room or stadiums. He was also a golf connoisseur. He loved playing the game, but also loved watching all the tournaments on TV. He enjoyed attending school activities/sporting events for his children and grandchildren. He loved rooting them on and has always been their best cheerleader. He will be greatly missed.
