Russell Leroy Steele, 33, of Augusta, KS, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in Andover. The family will hold a celebration of his life at 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2024 at the Augusta Church of Christ, 3500 Ohio St., Augusta, KS. Russell was born in Wichita, Kansas on June 27, 1990, to Sandra (Pinkston) and Scott Steele. He worked as a stone mason and bricklayer. He is survived by his wife, Jamie Steele; parents; son, Cayden Steele; daughter, Jalynn Thomas; grandmother, Elzan Steele; uncles and aunts, Brett and Karin Steele, Krista and Mike Baxter, Sheri and Tim Sexton, Vicky Hood, and LaRae Bassett; and numerous cousins.
