Sandra Kay Shivel

Sandra Kay Shivel, 76, of Augusta, KS, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will take place at a later date at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta, KS. Sandra was born in Cheyenne, WY on July 11, 1946, to the late Wanda Mae (Williams) and Arthur Jewel Clifford. She was an LPN, working in hospitals for many years. In January of 1974 she married Robert D. Shivel. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Crieg Bennett; a grandchild; and brother, Allen Clifford. She is survived by: daughter, Steffany Peters of Gillett, WY; son, Travis Bennett of Ft. Worth, TX; brother, Bob Clifford and wife Vicky of Augusta, KS; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
