Tamasa Rita Lackey

Tamasa Rita Lackey, 66 years old, left this world Friday, March 8, 2024, at Kansas Medical Center in Andover, KS.

Rita was born April 1, 1957, in Ulysses, Kansas, the daughter of Juan Eulogio Pacheco and Lorene (Romero) Pacheco. An Augusta resident for over 50 years, she was a retired composite worker at Beechcraft/Ratheon.

Affectionately known as Rita to family and friends, she leaves behind her husband of 30 years, Darwin; sons, Ronald "Barney" (Amber), Devin (Amanda), and Clayton (Emily); grandchildren, Jasmine, Emma, Clayvin, Abel, Lars, Brodie, Theo, Taylor and Jourdan.

There will be no formal funeral or graveside service, but rather a Celebration of Rita's life and love for family and friends at the Augusta Senior Center, Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 12:00 noon. There will be lunch served, and water, tea and coffee will be provided.
