Terry L. Cheek

Terry L. Cheek, 68, of Wichita, KS, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at home. Memorial service 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 17, 2021, at Augusta United Methodist Church, Augusta, KS. Private burial at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita, KS. Terry was born in Wichita, KS on September 24, 1952, to the late Dorothy Marie (Burklund) and Thurman "Dutch" Cheek. He graduated from East High School Class of 1970. He was a salesman at Wonder Bread for many years and after retirement a salesman at Lafe T. Williams. Terry enjoyed racing late models at 81 Speedway. He was extremely involved and present in all of his son's activities. Terry loved his children and grandchildren more than anything. He is survived by: sons, Troy Cheek and wife Samantha of Wichita, KS, Todd Cheek and girlfriend Charlotte of Highlands Ranch, CO; grandchildren, Trey, Sadie, and TJ Cheek; sister, Vickie Martin and husband Matt of Wichita, KS; nieces, Allyson, Molly, and Elisa; and longtime girlfriend, Beth Wallingford.
