Terry Tweila Elizabeth Langford

Terry Tweila Elizabeth Langford, 91, of Wichita, KS, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and service at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20,2023 both at Headley Funeral Chapel, 813 State St. Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 1030 N. Ohio St., Augusta, KS. Terry was born in Kansas City, KS on September 20, 1932, to the late Tweila Evelyn (Schultz) and Murel Dill. She was a reserve police officer for the Wichita Police Department for many years and had also worked as a dispatcher. She later worked as the office manager in admissions for Newman University. She was preceded in death by former husband, Charles H. Bennett, and husband, Jim J. Langford. She is survived by: sons, Robert Gaither and Michael Gaither; daughter, Marcia Gradinger; sons, Mark Bennett and David Bennett; grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb, Seth, and Joshua Gaither; great granddaughter, Olivia Gaither.
