Wayne Orval Haskins

Wayne Orval Haskins, 92, of El Dorado, KS, formerly of Latham, KS, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023. Service 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2023 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Leon Cemetery, Leon, KS. Wayne was born in Wichita, KS on June 4, 1930, to the late Nancy Emerson (Campbell) and Orval George Haskins. He worked as a delivery driver for Meadow Gold and Rainbo Breads for many years and later worked as a machinist at Cessna. On December 4, 1949 he married Dollie L. Haskins in Wichita, KS. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by: his sons, Terry and Danny Haskins; sisters, Vena Hyde and Mamie Haskins. He is survived by: son, Randy Haskins and wife Magda; daughters, Susan Chambers and husband Wayne, Kim Reuschel (John Walker), Lori Burk and husband Kevin, Suzanne Lewis and husband Dean; brothers, Ray Haskins and Dale Haskins; sister, Mary Sanko; daughter in law, Nancy Haskins; former son in law, William Reuschel; 27 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren.  Forever thankful for Good Shepherd Hospice care givers, Stephanie, Amanda, and many others; memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E Rockhill St #403, Wichita, KS 67206.
